  • Cal Foster

    FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

    Cal is the Co-Founder of The Movement Fitness alongside his wife Shelby. They established their passion filled fitness haven in 2015 as a testament to his dedication to wellness. As the head programmer at TMO and The Movement Fitness, Cal stands as the mastermind behind the meticulously crafted programs that define our fitness ethos.

    His passion lies in education and empowerment, in the opportunity to guide individuals towards uncovering their true physical potential. With a curiosity for body mechanics and a deep-rooted understanding of the science behind optimal movement, Cal embodies the essence of a teacher and mentor.

    Cal’s journey as a professional CrossFit athlete from 2015 to 2020, representing Australia and participating in numerous national events, cemented his expertise in high performance fitness. Today, his focus has shifted to being the epitome of health and strength, striving to be the fittest and strongest dad (he already is according to his two kids Molly and Jack!) He also actively contributes his skills as the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Dunsborough Sharks Football team while continuing his own athletic pursuits through football.

    Born and raised in the pristine southwest of Australia, Cal’s heart belongs to the ocean and surfing. When he isn’t in the gym, you’ll find him 4wding down the coast, setting up camp with his surfboard in the back, ready to catch the perfect wave with his family watching on the shore.

  • Shelby Foster

    FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

    Shelby is the co-founder of The Movement Fitness, having co-created the gym alongside Cal in 2015. With a huge commitment to wellness, Shelby’s expertise extends across various facets of fitness, embracing the holistic approach to health and movement.

    Her journey spans eight and a half years as a dedicated Personal Trainer, during which she has delved into the intricate connections between physical activity, emotional wellbeing, and community bonds. One of Shelby’s greatest highlights since starting The Movement is watching the incredible relationships formed between members.

    With a background in team sports and the current captain of the Dunsborough Sharks Women’s football team and Coach of the Dunsborough Sharks Youth Girls Team, Shelby epitomises the values of camaraderie and mutual support. Her fulfillment stems from guiding teammates through challenges - she is now your ultimate team mate in any workout!

    At TMO, Shelby is one of our Head Coaches. Beyond her coaching role, you will find her creating content for our socials and forging relationships with all our app members.

    Balancing an exhilarating life, Shelby's biggest role is being mum to Molly and Jack and wife to Cal. She resonates deeply with the delicate harmony between motherhood, entrepreneurship, nurturing friendships, and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.

  • Adam Levi

    FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

    Adam is a certified Personal Trainer whose passion is helping people reach their highest potential, both physically and mentally. With a background in strength, conditioning and sports specific training, Adam’s favourite way to train is that of a hybrid athlete, combining endurance with strength, conditioning and power training.

    When he’s not on camera goofing off with Cal and making Dad jokes, Adam is the weapon behind the TMO video editing and our resident personal growth guru.

    Through Adam’s experience he has recognised that mindset is our most valuable asset and that we can improve our mental health by optimising our physical health through exercise, nutrition and mindfulness practice.

    In between being a proud father and husband to son Lenny and wife Ash, you’ll find Adam with his head in a personal development book at any given time with a thirst for knowledge and self improvement. His passions outside of health and fitness are motorsport, getting sweaty in nature, kicking the footy with his furry son Max, and spending quality time with his family and closest friends. His current goal is to complete his first Ironman!

  • Ash Levi

    NATUROPATH & HEAD OF WELLNESS

    Ash is a degree-qualified naturopath (BHSc - Naturopathy) with a background in holistic nutrition and wellness. She is passionate about all things preventative health - nutrient-fuelled delicious food, sleep optimisation, stress management, mindfulness, gentle movement, and meaningful relationships - particularly the one you have with yourself.

    After working in women’s health and being immersed in the world of hormones, nutrition, emotional eating, and the impact of stress on the nervous system, Ash is particularly passionate about the flow-on effects of the fast pace of modern life to the physical body - mood, skin, sleep, hormones, energy levels, emotions, mental health, and nearly every aspect of our physical health.

    Ash is our Head of Wellness here at TMO and loves to spread awareness about the importance of optimising your health through the power of nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and holistic wellness. When she’s not writing wellness content for our members, she is our admin and tech whiz behind the scenes of our website and app.

    Ash lives in beautiful Dunsborough in the southwest of WA with her husband Adam, her son Lenny, and Border collie, Max. She loves reading, walking in the bush, a good podcast, being in the ocean, a great chai, diving into anything astrology or Human Design related, deep conversations, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Katie Green

    YOGA & MINDFULNESS TEACHER

    Katie has been a yoga practitioner since she was a teenager and became a teacher in 2013. The deeper exploration of yoga led to her study of meditation, breathwork, and Qi Gong. Katie’s passion for health and wellness has been essentially, forever, coming from a background in bodywork therapies, reiki healing, personal training, and herbalism.

    Katie lives in Yallingup, in Southern Western Australia, she is a Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Qi Gong teacher plus a part-time witch for her herbal-based company, Green Witch Potions. Katie loves training at The Movement, practicing and teaching yoga, writing poetry, and looking for small, and sometimes big, ways to make life beautiful.

    Katie encourages introspection, attention, reflection, self-love and compassion within her teachings that are nervous system orientated and drawn from her own experiences.

  • Grace Pettitt

    HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST

    Grace has a degree in nutritional medicine and a passion for educating and inspiring others. Whilst she believes that nutritious meals play a large role in the quality of our health, she also believes it’s just as important to challenge the mind, move the body, and prioritise the things that make your soul sing.

    After being totally confused by the health system, not knowing which way was up, Grace dove head first into her degree, soaking up all the research. Fast forward seven years, and she is now a holistic nutritionist who sees the importance of realistic balance. Eating in a way that not only fuels the body but that we ENJOY!

    Grace encourages cooking with care, eating mindfully, and where possible, connecting and sharing mealtimes with the ones you love.

    Grace is our recipe developer here at TMO and is the brains responsible for all of the delicious recipes that you can find on the app. She loves bringing you delicious family-friendly recipes, and hopes you enjoy them as much as she enjoys creating them!
