what memberships do you offer?

We offer monthly, quarterly, and annual memberships to give you flexibility with your TMO membership. You can find more info here.

What fitness experience do i need?

All of our classes are designed with different levels of experience and fitness taken into account. With our years of experience coaching and programming classes for The Movement Fitness and Wellbeing, we can tailor the workouts for a beginner, right through to an experienced campaigner! We have a ‘sweat’, ‘perform’ and ‘compete’ option for each workout to guide you on where to start based on your ability. The most important thing to remember is to always go at your own pace and never compare yourself to others!

I’m just getting started on my fitness journey, which classes should I start with?

Firstly we’re so stoked you’re here and getting started with us, that’s truly the hardest step! To get started we’d recommend a lower-impact class, such as a MOVE BODY, MOVE KB or MOVE WELL.

what equipment will I need?

The classes on TMO vary from bodyweight only (check out our MOVE BODY class), right through to dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, and erg machines. If you only have access to a kettlebell or dumbbell, the MOVE KB class has been designed just for you! All you need is one piece of equipment and you’re good to go! You can filter the classes based on the equipment at your disposal, making it easy for you to choose the right workout!

can I do tmo from home?

Absolutely! One of our big motivators for creating TMO was to help remove any barriers for people wanting to get started on their health and fitness journey! So we created MOVE KB, MOVE KB & MOVE MOBILITY so that you can work out from the comfort of your own home with minimal to no equipment, perfect for when you’re short on time and can’t get to the gym.

do I need a full gym membership?

No! You can still benefit from using the TMO app without the need for full gym access. Follow along with our minimal equipment classes, breathwork, and mobility without the need for a gym. If you have strength goals in mind, we recommend our MOVE WELL and MOVE LEAN classes which will require access to equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells.

The TMO app was designed to provide you with our signature classes, a comprehensive movement education library, delicious nutritional recipes, and mindfulness for you to follow along with anywhere, in your own time. Whether you’re just starting out on your health and fitness path or you’re an experienced campaigner we’re here to support you every step of the way.

how often will there be new classes?

We add new classes each week programmed by our expert coaches focused around functional movement patterns - push, pull, hinge, squat, and carry - and a balance of upper, lower, core, and full body movements. We know variety is the spice of life and it’s so important to keep your training fun and engaging! This is why we strive to bring you new workouts to complete each week, plus regular Challenges, whilst following a programming cycle structure that will bring you the best results for your goals.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Yes of course you can cancel your monthly membership anytime. We’d hate to see you go, but we completely understand that circumstances can change. Just know we’ll always be here for you to get back started when you’re ready!

How do I cancel or change my membership?

Head over to our Manage Your Membership page where you can make changes to your membership, update card details, and view past and upcoming payments. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team at membership@themovementonline.com.au.

I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY SPOTIFY PLAYLIST, PLEASE HELP!

To listen to our Spotify playlists alongside your TMO workout, tap PROFILE in the app, and make sure the option that says ‘Allow background audio from other apps’ is selected (the option will turn to green). Open the workout of your choice, scroll down to the Spotify playlist preview, and tap the little icon in the top right corner (looks like the symbol below). Return to your workout with your music playing and go for it!
